Joseph Wright is a 55ft long x 12ft 6in wide Dutch barge built by R& D Fabrications in 1996. She is fitted with a Thornycroft 110HP inboard diesel engine and has 4 berths.
Joseph Wright is a very capable, comfortable, Dutch Barge suitable for immediate live-aboard. Joseph Wright has a collapsible wheelhouse which makes her suited for discovering the waterside life, travelling on rivers and canals where the height restrictions can limit the access.
She is equipped for travelling aboard with a 900 litre diesel tank, 900 litre water tank, 250 litre raw water tank and 150 litre diesel central heating tank, in board water cooled two cylinder Kabota 5kva generator, 200watt solar panels, brand new 4 x 120 ah leisure batteries, 720ah starter battery and a 120ah generator starter battery.

Accommodation from stern:
The wheelhouse is of metal and wood construction it has drop down windows and a collapsible roof.
The kitchen is a galley style which is 7 metres in length comprising of soft closing units, it has a Shoreline 12 volt fridge and a small freezer compartment there is space for a cold fill washing machine.
The longe is 15’ long and 12’6” wide. It is situated at the front of the boat and it has a sliding roof panel and folding steeps with double doors which allows access to the bow of the barge. The saloon enjoys a Cabota Old English diesel fire with a back boiler, radio with twin speakers and television cupboard with folding doors.
The bedroom is a standard double bed with draws underneath for substantial storage and a small wardrobe.

The bathroom has a five foot bath with seat and overhead shower and a wash basin with storage.
Fitted with a flush toilet and washbasin. Above the toilet is airing cupboard which provides access to the switch for the immersion heater and the access to the hot water tank.
The engine room is situated underneath the floor in the wheelhouse it has a steel ladder to allow access. All of the floor in the wheelhouse opens up to provide access to all of the engine room if needed.
